Darius Espiritu James directs short films and projects. With experience in cinematography, score composition, and post-production sound mixing, he is most passionate about shaping a story's tone. Unifying the artistic elements and leading creative teams to bring narratives to life.

Born and raised in Toronto, Ontario, and a graduate of Humber Polytechnic, Darius' goal is simple: to entertain. He has always loved working behind the camera, capturing moments through photo and video, turning them into something others can enjoy.

 

He will now speak in first person, haha: I like the thought of giving someone an escape from reality. Whether that's two minutes, twenty minutes, or two hours, if I can offer someone a break from whatever's going on in their lives and, hopefully, entertain or inspire them in the moment, I'm happy.
