Darius Espiritu James directs independent films, shorts, and Projects. With experience in cinematography, score composition, and post-production sound mixing, he is most passionate about shaping a story's tone. Unifying the artistic elements and leading creative teams to bring narratives to life.

Born and raised in Toronto, Ontario, and a graduate of Humber Polytechnic, Darius' goal is simple: to entertain. He has always loved working behing the camera, capturing moments through photo and video, turning them into something others can enjoy.

 

"I like the thought of giving someone an escape from reality. Whether that's two minutes, twenty minutes, or two hours, if I can offer someone a break from whatever's going on in their lives, and hopefully entertain or inspire them in the moment, I'm happy".
